Digital Marketing Specialist

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
TASKS
Strategic
â Prioritising work based on sales opportunities and profit
â Continuously improve websites and landing pages we have in place, build new websites and landing pages when required and proactively develop new channels to provide quality lead and sales generation
â Focus on ROAS and profitability across all aspects of ecommerce and lead generation.
â Provide platforms to educate the consumer, optimise the customer journey to increase revenue and profit
â Proactively plan, coordinate, and optimize digital campaigns to drive sales & build life-time customer value through the D2C channel
â A/B testing across digital channels to continuously drive growth in sales
â Accurately monitoring sites giving real-time feedback
Analysis & Reporting
â Owns, and maintains ecommerce and lead generation performance analytics, metrics, and testing reporting
â Analyses key metrics; ensures they are accurate and used to grow sales.
â Utilises reporting functions across multiple platforms ensuring to maximise sales opportunities
â Creates clear, concise reports, and analysis of all sales results
â Reviews and interprets sales results in real time, and initiates changes to optimise sales as and when required.
â Generates and tracks testing pipeline, communicates learnings of wins and losses to ensure best practice across the team
Organic Content Optimisation / SEO
â Based on strategy, work with external experts and tools to narrow keyword targeting
â Develop and support a best-practice blog program, including engaging copywriters to write monthly blog posts, leveraging internal subject matter experts for deep and engaging content, inserting effective calls to action for lead conversion, and effectively promoting the blog posts through appropriate channels,
â With a strong understanding of performance, optimize existing website content to improve search results and rankings,
â Monitor and report trends/opportunities in keyword search topics, to support blog/other website content, social media ideation and production,
â Regularly review and improve SEO targeting and ensure new website content is created to meet SEO requirements.
Content Production
â Ensures all key elements of the BDL sales process are adhered to within copy, imagery, formatting, design, and consistently rolled out over all touchpoints and platforms (website, email, reviews, rewards, and social media) efficiently and without error.
â Generates & tests new and creative growth ideas.
â Clearly articulates requirements to internal team and external agencies to ensure efficiencies.
â Research competitor(s) advertising, including how similar products are sold.
Website
â Undertake quarterly optimisation reviews of the websites to ensure optimisation opportunities are identified and delivered to create a great user experience which performs to meet objectives.
â Ensure the sites remains well optimised for SEO and technical optimisation opportunities are delivered.
â Ensure, overall, the websites deliver an outstanding brand experience which is in-line with our product experience.
Email and SMS
â Ensures that Email and SMS marketing is prioritised, and database management is accurate and complete
Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
â Works with SEO Specialist(s), and manages the SEO of the Brand Developers’ websites:
â Utilises platforms to actively research and track SEO
â Applies learnings to continually update SEO content
ITEM
DETAILS
Experience
â 3+ years proven track record of success in B2C digital-focussed marketing roles, covering multi-channel marketing, operational planning and tactical execution.
â 1+ years of in-depth, hands on experience using E-commerce platforms such as Shopify/magneto/WooCommerce or WordPress
â Experience delivering results in SEO, Paid Search, Display, eDM and social media campaign management to drive traffic and improve conversions.
â Experience building ecommerce stores would be a plus.
Qualifications
â Tertiary qualifications (or similar) in marketing and/or digital marketing.
Skills and knowledge
â Strong understanding of online marketing concepts, strategies and best practices.
â Ability to develop and implement results-driven digital strategies.
â Knowledge of design and emerging digital trends.
â Basic understanding of digital performance analysis, tracking and optimisation tools.
â Ability to thrive under pressure, prioritise workload and multi-task.
â Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Tools and Platforms
â Strong knowledge of:
o Facebook (Meta), Instagram, Facebook Business Manager, Linkedin, Pinterest
o Content Management Systems eg: Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, Wordpress , Webflow or Sitecore

â Ability to improve results through A/B testing Copy, creatives, and platforms etc
â Strong personal use of the internet, social platforms and online tools.
