Senior Tax Manager

The Role
We're currently representing a Top 10 CA firm with a lengthy history in the New Zealand market; seeking an experienced Tax Manager or Senior Manager seeking a step up in a corporate tax function.
Key Responsibilities:
- As Senior Tax Manager you'll be working closely alongside the Partners on a diverse range of advisory and consulting projects.
- Preparing and reviewing tax returns.
- Day to day will include reviews, managing client relationships and handling the higher level technical projects that will come through.
- Broad portfolio of clients which includes NZ listed and commercial entities.
- You would also be involved in corporate tax across inbound and outbound engagements.
- You would be managing a team of Senior and Junior tax consultants.
Ideal Candidate:
- Prior tax compliance & advisory experience within a CA firm, preferably Big 4 or mid-tier firm would be ideal.
- Strong communication, client and stakeholder management experience.
- Experience in using Xero, APS, CCH and/or TaxLab.
- You could be an experienced Tax professional with a strong compliance background looking for that step towards more advisory based work, or someone looking to move from a commercial tax environment into practice.
- Experience in corporate/deferred tax is preferred.
