Senior Tax ManagerDecember 13, 2024 by John O'DonnellThe RoleWe're currently representing a Top 10 CA firm with a lengthy history in the New Zealand market; seeking an experienced Tax Manager or Senior Manager seeking a step up in a corporate tax function.Key Responsibilities:As Senior Tax Manager you'll be working closely alongside the Partners on a diverse range of advisory and consulting projects.Preparing and reviewing tax returns.Day to day will include reviews, managing client relationships and handling the higher level technical projects that will come through.Broad portfolio of clients which includes NZ listed and commercial entities.You would also be involved in corporate tax across inbound and outbound engagements.You would be managing a team of Senior and Junior tax consultants.Ideal Candidate:Prior tax compliance & advisory experience within a CA firm, preferably Big 4 or mid-tier firm would be ideal.Strong communication, client and stakeholder management experience.Experience in using Xero, APS, CCH and/or TaxLab.You could be an experienced Tax professional with a strong compliance background looking for that step towards more advisory based work, or someone looking to move from a commercial tax environment into practice.Experience in corporate/deferred tax is preferred.The firm believes in an open door policy and offers a strong and collaborative work environment which emphasizes teamwork, support and an engaging and social work environment.To discuss this role (and other opportunities within the Tax and advisory market), please get in touch with John or Harry for a confidential discussion:John O'Donnelle: ******: 027 700 2361Harry Dev Singhe: ******: 0204 048 48 24Additional Information:Internationally established CA firmCorporate Tax focusAuckland CBD LocationCategory: Accounting & Finance, TaxationType: Permanent - Full Time
