Consents Planner Location: Lower Hutt, Wellington Job type: Full time Duration: Contract Company benefits: Permanent part-time or 12-month full-time contract Description Consents Planner - permanent part-time role or a 12-month full-time contract Urban Edge Planning Limited is one of the largest planning, urban design, and landscape architecture consultancies in Wellington. We specialize in resource consent applications, district plan and natural hazard formation policy, urban design, and landscape plans. We value quality work, communication, and a quality environment for our staff. THE ROLE: Our team handles multi-disciplinary projects including plan changes, resource consent applications, and expert reports. The role involves preparing resource consent applications, processing for councils, and coordinating expert input. Responsibilities include: Preparation of resource consent applications Processing for local and/or regional councils Coordinating expert input and working with urban designers and landscape architects We are seeking an Intermediate or Senior Planner with a minimum of 3 years of NZ planning experience. Strong understanding of RMA, interpersonal skills, creativity, and eligibility to work in NZ are required.
