About Role:
You will enjoy working in an R&D environment with an interest in the testing, developing, and documenting of control systems for HVAC equipment. Contribute to the development control systems for HVAC equipment. Test, verify & improve control solutions for company products. Provide feedback and support to the Controls Specialist and Engineering Teams. Inspect and supervise major installations to ensure compliance with company requirements. Assist in the optimization of controls in applications to customer expectations. Determine testing requirements and develop procedures. Set up and evaluate control applications via remote monitoring software with suggestions for improvement. Install ducting, piping, and unit to undertake application testing. Carry out Prescribed Electrical Work up to and including the connection of the unit to the supply. Setup appropriate network connections to allow communication between devices. Act as a consultant on the company's behalf for site remedial work. Provide feedback and support to the Controls Specialist and Engineering team in New Zealand and Australia. Assist with documenting and training. Write PLC software for HVAC systems with either Carel or Schneider.

About You:
Relevant trade qualification. 5 years experience with control systems & programming. Carel, Schneider, or similar PLC control systems experience ideal. Prior experience in testing and analysis. Electronics background is desirable. Knowledge & application of HVAC equipment. Strong interpersonal and English writing skills. Carel or Schneider PLC control systems experience.
