General Manager – Franchised Property Services General/Business Unit Manager (CEO & General Management) We are a rapidly growing property services company with a bold vision to become the market leader in New Zealand. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to join our senior leadership team. This role is crucial to our success, as you will play a key part in shaping the strategy, growth, and operational excellence of our brand across New Zealand.About the Role:As the General Manager for New Zealand, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of our operations, with a strong focus on driving growth, ensuring franchisee success, and maintaining the high standards of our brand. You will be a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of making critical decisions that will impact the future of our business. This role requires a deep understanding of property services and, ideally, experience within the franchising sector.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership:Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the growth and success of the brand in New Zealand.Work closely with the senior leadership team to align company objectives with market opportunities and franchisee needs.Oversee and manage all operational aspects of the business, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all departments.Support and develop franchisees, ensuring they have the tools, knowledge, and resources to succeed.Implement and uphold best practices across the franchise network, ensuring consistency and quality in service delivery.Foster strong relationships with franchisees, providing guidance and support to drive business growth and maintain high standards.Business Development:Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including market expansion and service diversification.Develop and maintain key partnerships and networks within the property services industry.Lead efforts to enhance the brand in New Zealand, ensuring it remains competitive and highly regarded.Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and performance analysis to ensure the financial health of the business.Work with the finance team to manage revenue streams, control costs, and achieve profitability targets.Build and manage a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members, ensuring they grow with the company.Key Attributes:Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the property services industry.Strong understanding of the franchise model and experience working with or managing franchises is highly desirable.Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and decision-making.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to inspire and lead a team, driving them to achieve ambitious goals.Financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, financial planning, and performance management.Results-oriented with a strong focus on achieving business objectives.Why Join Us?Leadership Role: Be a part of the senior leadership team, shaping the future of Candoo in New Zealand.Impactful Work: Drive significant growth and make a lasting impact on the company and its franchisees.Career Growth: Opportunity for professional development and career progression within a rapidly growing company.Competitive Compensation: We offer a competitive salary package, including performance-based incentives and other benefits.How to Apply:If you are a strategic leader with a passion for property services and franchising, we would love to hear from you.
