**We are looking for a baking & pastry extraordinaire to join our team.**
- checking the cleanliness of equipment and operation of premises before production runs to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- ordering and stock taking all ingrediants.
- Managing stock rotation and mitigating food waste.
- baking to recipe to ensure consistency of product.
- kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing and shaping dough and pastry goods.
- preparing pastry fillings.
- monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times & safe food practices.
- coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of batches of bread, rolls and pastry products.
- glazing buns and pastries, and decorating cakes with cream and icing.
- operating machines which roll and mould dough and cut biscuits.
- emptying, cleaning and greasing baking trays, tins and other cooking equipment as per the maintenance requirements.
The position is fulltime, five days, 6.00am -2.00pm. Send us pictures of your baking or tell us what your favourite baking bibles are, we want baking enthusiasm and originality.
