Four Square Marewa, Napier is looking for 4 Bakers. This job is required to perform duties and responsibilities that include, but are not limited to the following:
Ø Prepare, bake, and decorate a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods.
Ø Follow recipes and maintain consistency in quality and presentation.
Ø Measure and mix ingredients to ensure proper consistency and taste.
Ø Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to achieve optimal results.
Ø Ensure all products are prepared on time for display and customer orders.
Ø Keep the work area clean and organized, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
Ø Collaborate with the team to develop new recipes and seasonal offerings.
Ø Order and maintain inventory of baking ingredients and supplies.
Ø Stay updated on industry trends and new baking techniques.
Ø Ensure the timely completion of daily production and handle special orders as required.
l A relevant NZQF Level 4 qualification or above
l At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the qualification requirement
l Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
l Be a team player but also able to work independently
