**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

The Privacy Team is responsible for providing timely, high-quality advice and support to all teams within Health NZ to ensure that personal and health information in our care is safe and handled appropriately.

The primary purpose of the Senior Privacy Advisor is to work with the Principal Privacy Advisor to ensure the effective delivery of privacy support across all business units, with a focus on high-risk areas. You will work in partnership with the wider business to grow privacy knowledge, identify risks and deliver maturity.

This is a full time, permanent position, based anywhere in New Zealand.

**Mōu | About you**

Your solid experience and keen interest in privacy and the impact of maintaining privacy related compliance within an organisation are key to success in this role. You will bring effective relationship and rapport building skills that translate well with stakeholders at all levels. You also have strong written and verbal communication skills and think analytically, with a proactive approach to potential privacy risks.

As you will be dealing with complex and sensitive privacy complaints, you will be resilient and empathetic. In this role, you will have the opportunity to to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a small team.
