Awesome Opportunity for an Experienced Country, Branch or Operations Manager.

We're currently partnered with a premum ANZ brand within the Manufacturing Industry who are on the Hunt for their Next NZ Country/General Manager. This is an exclusive opportunity to join a family owned business which has been in the industry for over 100 years.

**Your new role**

Your primary objective is to lead, manage and continuously improve the NZ business in alliance with company vision and strategic intents to deliver or exceed net profit against budgeted levels, ensuring NZ’s Market needs form part of the overall business strategy to deliver profitable growth. You ultimately be responsible for circa 45 FTE with your key reports being the NZ Operations and Production Managers. Full JD is available but some top line accountabilities include:

- Lead within the organisational and branch to achieve profitable growth in alignment with set budgets and the corporate vision.
- Strategically create mutually beneficial partnerships to effectively align with and support key business initiatives.
- Negotiate with ability to initiate, build and maintain customer/supplier relationships at all levels
- Manage Sales and provide support to the Operational, Finance and Administration Teams to achieve and exceed budgets, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction level targets, whilst continuing to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure the Operations Team is actively improving, labour efficiency, completion on time, lead times and delivering in full and on time.
- Manage the NZ Sales Team to achieve annual sales budgets and set the direction for specific account strategies for future growth.

**What you'll need to succeed**

Extensive experience in managing a variety of people in a fast-paced, ideally manufacturing and /or retail business environment

Knowledge of manufacturing/production process and key efficiencies

Knowledge of relevant WHS requirement regulations

Experience developing and nurturing business relationships with existing clients.

Experience initiating business relationships and generative sales leads for others

Experience developing business objectives in consultation with relevant stakeholders and motivating others to ensure that these objectives are met

Experience and understanding of costings/BOMS.
