About the team
The outsourcing team at Waitematā is a small team tasked with sending referrals for Radiology exams to be performed by private providers. This friendly collaborative team of three works as one, liaising with Radiographers, Radiologists and Doctors whilst still being part of the larger administrative team in Radiology.
About the role
The Radiology Department at North Shore Hospital requires an Outsourcing Administrator to join their team. This position is responsible for ensuring outsourcing of Radiology referrals is carried out in a timely fashion and providing effective support to Radiology staff, wards, departments & the community.
This is a full time role, Monday to Friday, based at North Shore Hospital.
About you
We are looking for someone who lives our values, someone with excellent data entry skills, a quick learner with a flexible, collaborative and resourceful approach, who pays great attention to detail. Previous healthcare experience is preferred, within Radiology would be a bonus - but full training is provided
You'll be flexible, with a positive manner and the ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks at once and meet deadlines.
Key Requirements

Previous experience with excel
Strong data entry skills
High level of attention to detail and adherence to process requirements
Ability to work autonomously but within a small team

The role is a busy one and offers a chance to work in one of the fastest growing District in NZ
