Reporting to the Director NZ and Group HR Manager, we are seeking an HR Business Partner to provide timely, accurate, and high-quality service, support, and expertise to the ICON New Zealand Division. This position will contribute to the overall HR goals, focusing on the development and implementation of the company’s strategic HR objectives, aiming for an integrated approach across the organization.

**Key Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Cultivate effective relationships with leadership for efficient Division management, aligning with company values and risk mitigation.
- Foster a high-performing culture to attract and retain talent.
- Provide expert advice on HR policies, procedures, legislation, recruitment, and change processes, offering risk analysis.
- Support programs enhancing engagement and the overall people experience.
- Streamline offboarding, conduct exit interviews, and analyse turnover.
- Resolve complex employee relations, offering day-to-day performance guidance, including coaching and disciplinary actions.
- Conduct objective investigations to manage and resolve intricate employee relations.
- Facilitate efficient recruitment, hiring, and onboarding, coaching hiring managers.
- Oversee induction and probation for swift integration, ensuring acquisition of required skills.

**Requirements**:

- HR, Business Administration, or related degree.
- Demonstrated HR expertise in Construction, Engineering, or Infrastructure would be an preferred but not essential
- Years of HR experience, emphasizing business partnering, supporting units/divisions, and managing complex employee relations.
- Understanding HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation. Expertise in HR advice, risk analysis, recruitment, performance management, and talent development. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Aligning HR strategies with business objectives and contributing to strategic HR development.
- Managing change processes and implementing engagement programs.
- Organizational skills for multitasking, analytical skills for HR trend analysis.
- Collaborative work within HR teams and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ongoing commitment to professional development in HR
