**Te **kōwhiringa | The Opportunity**
Our New Plymouth based Traffic Management team is looking for an individual with exceptional organisational skills to join them as Resource Coordinator. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day running of Traffic Management services through effective management, planning and resourcing of people and plant.
Key responsibilities will include:
- The management of incoming traffic requests and generating forward works programmes for operational teams.
- Collaborate with management and ensure optimum utilisation of resource through allocation of people, plant, technology, materials, and supplies.
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding their needs, and ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
- Provide regular updates and accurate reporting to the client and senior management on service progress and any issues. Promote a safe working environment and foster a Zero Harm culture.

- Sound knowledge and understanding of Traffic Management and demonstrated ability to manage industry challenges and operational risks.
- Strong planning and programming skills to ensure resources are deployed and utilised to deliver best outcomes.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to empower and influence others. A working understanding of Code of Practice for Temporary Traffic Management (COPTTM).
