**Āu Mahi | What You Will Do**
UC is looking for an experienced Senior Information Analyst to enhance our decision making by facilitating quality information and analysis. You will use your business acumen and analysis skills to support UCs marketing, student recruitment and Alumni teams to make informed decisions.

Building collaborative relationships with key stakeholders within UCs marketing, student recruitment and student alumni teams is an important element of this position, in addition to developing a deep understanding of the information needs of each area.

You will be supported by the wider Data and Analytics team, including Technical Report Writer, Data Engineers, Data Scientist and Analytics Project Manager. We value your intelligence, your business acumen and your ability to work as part of a team, if you haven't used PowerBI before that is ok as we will train you.

**Mōu | Who You Are**
We are looking for someone with strong business acumen and the ability to anticipate key management questions. With a minimum of 7-8 years' relevant experience in an information analysis role within a large organisation (preferably across varied functions or industries) you will have a broad knowledge of business processes and business practices, proven experience building and maintaining collaborative and meaningful relationships across all levels of business with diverse stakeholders.

You possess a natural ability to interpret information needs and ask the right questions to unearth solutions that key stake holders actually want, communicate complex analysis in a simple, easy to understand way, and interpret customer information needs and translate them into technical requirements.

This role would suit someone from an accounting background who wants to make the transition to an analyst role. Chartered Accountancy or Management Accountancy qualifications would be advantageous.
