**About the Role**:
CMA CGM is growing and an incredible opportunity has become available in Auckland for a customer service professional to join our team.

**Key responsibilities of the role will include**:
Answer client’s enquiries on cargo availability, transhipment queries, pick-ups, container returns and storage, freight charges applicable and general enquiries / issues.

Collecting applicable freight and demurrage and releasing delivery orders, and in other duties, as directed by Service Delivery Supervisor.

Process vessels and report to customs. Issue line hold releases / delivery orders after confirming documentation and payment status of shipments

MPI, port authorities and other internal and external parties

Reporting and auditing import team vessel lodgements and hazardous.

To thoroughly check and approve all import related invoices in a timely manner and create and send arrival notification for containers

Maintain positive contact with clients, freight forwarders and Customs Agents in order to promote ANL-CMA CGM Services in order to maximise cargo and revenue opportunities

Build and develop client relationships and create networks to increase growth and business.

Follow up on idle containers - left undelivered at wharf - or outstanding with customer to ensure quickest possible return of containers to group.

Report on Client shipment activity and volumes (past and present) and advise management, origin agencies and head office of trends, developments and client changes

Maintain filing and archiving systems for Import Voyages in a tidy and professional manner

**To succeed in this role, you will need**:
Good understanding of all aspects of the shipping and/or transport industry

Strong administration skills

Excellent keyboard and computer skills

Excellent communications skills both written and verbal

Able to work as part of a team

Able to solve problems and make decisions

Customer-oriented approach

Good team player
