Join one of New Zealand's largest IT distributors as the Microsoft Modern Work & Security Specialist working within the Microsoft team at Dicker Data.

This role will define and work with a selection of Dicker Data's top resellers who will drive Modern Work & Security solutions in the SMB & SMC Segment in a scalable way by growing the marketing and sales capabilities of our channel partners.

You must be comfortable delivering sales and high-level technical training on bleeding-edge solutions and can help partners build these offers into their managed practices with guidance on how best to purchase, deploy, and manage these services.

**General Responsibilities**
- Work with our channel partners to leverage your technical expertise to drive the acquisition of Microsoft customers
- Be an entrepreneurial and motivated individual focused on building a book of business around a set of offerings, capabilities, and solutions in the marketplace.
- Demonstrate expertise in both the business outcomes and technology aspects of the Microsoft Modern Work & Security solution stack, including Copilot for M365.
- Leverage experience in working with various go-to-market and sales channels to support sales and drive business growth.
- Collaborate with partners to drive joint business initiatives for Dicker Data and Microsoft.
- Achieve assigned revenue and usage targets across the region, driving both team and individual performance.
- Develop and execute strategies for Modern Work, AI & Security to ensure long-term CSP revenue and growth.
- Confidently chair partner and customer workshops and deliver solution presentations.

**To be successful, you will have/be**:

- 5+ years of core sales, channel sales, security solution selling, or business development experience (essential)
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft security products or similar solutions (essential)
- 2+ years of experience working in the distribution channel for Small & Medium Business (SMB) customers (preferred)
- Basic understanding of Security and the Microsoft partner ecosystem (essential)
- Preferably experience working at a Partner / Hoster / Telco/ Service Provider or competing technology vendor (preferred)
- Have or obtain relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g. MS-900, AZ-900, SC-900, AI-900 etc)
- A team player with proven customer service and sales skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A problem solver with high attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
