As NZQA’s Principal Advisor in the organisational development speciality, you will be accountable for the consultation, codesign, implementation, and evaluation of a range of new and existing organisational development programmes, with an emphasis on delivering best-practice initiatives aimed at supporting the organisation to deliver on strategic goals.

The NZQA’s Rautaki Whakawhanake Tāngata/People Strategy has been designed and this role will be responsible for its implementation, and so you will evaluate programmes for employees and collaborate with stakeholders to both identify organisational development needs and to develop effective solutions to address those needs. Contributing to meet the operational needs, you will co-design, develop, and implement initiatives to increase leadership and organisational capability.

You will be part of the People and Capability leadership team. If you are someone who is self-motivated, enjoys a dynamic workplace, and appreciates the diversity of our employees then this role may be for you. You’ll be particularly focussed on developing and delivering initiatives to:

- Implement of RautakiWhakawhanake Tāngata/People Strategy initiatives including Kia Toipoto (gender and ethnic pay gaps) and Papa Pounamu (diversity and inclusion) plans
- Foster an inclusive and diverse workplace; and
- Strengthening and maturing people practices and organisational culture.

As an experienced organisational development professional, you will be valued for your positive contribution to the OD programmes, projects, and initiatives. You will also excel at building and maintaining relationship with stakeholders at all levels.
