THE ROLE:We are currently on the hunt for an experienced Manufacturing and Fabrication Manager with heavy fabrication experience to join our Hamilton Team. Reporting to the COO, we are looking for someone who is confident, team focussed, goal orientated, and ready to get the job done.

Having 6 direct reports, the Manufacturing and Fabrication Manager will be responsible for:

- Can collaborate well with the sales team to produce world-class products delivered on time. - Ensuring effective management of all day-to-day operations and supply chain functions. Deliver a leadership style to the team that ensures they deliver a safe, efficient, and compliant service to all TRT clients. Leading the operations department through effective people management and strong leadership. Represent and replicate TRT core values. Develop, agree, and implement strategic plans for both the long
- and short-term developmental objectives for your department. Ensure projects and services are delivered - safely, on time, to budget, and meet any contracted specifications.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Demonstrate past heavy fabrication experience. Desirably, approximately 5 years’ experience in an engineering, operations management, or resource industry environment. An intrinsic ability to monitor and drive production and be able to interpret data to inform plant needs and drive efficiency opportunities. A proven ability to lead, train, and mentor employees in a steel fabrication environment. Experience managing quality control and assurance processes, including testing to ensure products meet specifications. The ability to think strategically, problem solve, make decisions quickly, and think on your feet. Customer relationship management experience. Knowledge of health and safety beyond compliance, to caring about keeping our people and equipment safe.
