Since its formation in 2011, Research and Enterprise has grown research income from $88M to over $184M, through an extended period of significant change in government strategy and investment.

**_ The role/Te mahi_**

As a Senior Research Administrator, you will provide support to one or more research client portfolios, normally a group of academic departments or units.

Working in partnership with Research and Enterprise Managers and Advisers, this role provides effective and efficient pre-award and post-award administrative support for research grants. You will also support the Research and Enterprise Division, researchers and the University meet obligations to research sponsors and collaborators.

The role is a key administrative conduit for external funders and is part of a team flexibly providing administrative services across the Division and the University.

If you are a problem solver, with a can-do attitude and the ability to think outside the square, are well organised and have an exceptional customer service focus, this role could be yours.

- A recognised qualification appropriate to the role.
- Suitable experience working in a busy and/or complex administration role where high levels of customer service delivery are expected.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of programmes.

This is a full-time (37.5 hours), permanent position, located in Christchurch.
