**What you will be doing**:
Please note that whilst there maybe scope for a long-term appointment, this role is a 24-month fixed term contract initially.

In this role you will:

- Build and support the financial crime fighting technology capability, cutting code to ensure the systems keep up with changes, and ensuring the systems run efficiently and reliably, while collecting business requirements, formulating solutions, communicating solutions for peer review, and driving implementation.
- Work within the scaled Agile framework, with the support of Fraud squad, Product Owner, and Chapter Lead to help you succeed in your role

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

**Qualifications**:

- Intermediate to Advanced SQL skills
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering domain
- Data ETL/ELT transformation - nice to have experience on using StreamSets to transform streaming data
- Elastic stack - including building dashboards to monitor metrics
- Platform Support - including RHEL and Windows servers, F5 load balancing, patching
