**Position title - Learning Technology Co-ordinator**Position location - National Office (Wellington)**Reports to - Manager Information Systems**

**Position Purpose**Our client is responsible for all financial and information technology operations and functions. This includes financial and treasury management, asset management, information and learning systems management, property management, contract management, risk management and information technology management. The Learning Technology Co-ordinator is responsible for **supporting the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS) **; ensuring learning content functions operate correctly; ensuring that correct versions of programme, assessment and learner data are maintained; and supporting all users with access and systems support of their learning technology systems.

**Key Result Areas**:

- Supports the Learning Management Systems Administrator with the administration of their learning technology systems
- Supports learners and employers accessing their learning management systems and self-service portals
- Supports learners and employers with inquiries related to online practical assessments
- Undertakes regular maintenance tasks to ensure the validity of data in the Learning Management System (LMS) and associated IT systems
- Supports the development and implementation of effective policies and procedures for using their learning technology systems
- Carries out other duties and/or projects assigned by the Manager Information Systems
- Contributes to cross-functional team and/or group projects and activities
- Provides other support as required to ensure the smooth, effective and efficient operation.

**Education and Experience**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Experience in **customer service **providing **first-level help desk support **to users of IT systems
- Experience in building people capability in using learning technologies
- Experience in implementing new policies and procedures to ensure the associated benefits from new learning technologies
- Advanced computer skills are essential - **Windows environment**:

- Understanding of, and commitment to, the promotion and adherence to health and safety practices.
