Baker Tilly are supporting one of our clients in the search for a People and Culture Advisor. Our client is a local company doing global work and one that sets itself apart from its competitors in terms of innovation, culture and determination.

This is the perfect role for a P&C practitioner with 3-5 years’ experience who is wanting to work at the coal face supporting managers while also being part of a vibrant P&C team.

The role reports into a dynamic and engaged GM of People and Culture who will provide fantastic support and opportunities to learn making this a great role to develop more senior P&C skills. You will work in HQ and with decisions makers just down the hallway, initiatives can be actioned and impact had.

**What you will do**

You will invest in the capabilities of our managers, developing their HR and ER skills and provide sound practical advice and support along with essential documentation as needed. Talent acquisition and onboarding are also part of the role along with IEA preparation. However, you will also have opportunities to be involved in innovative people projects with scope to pursue projects in your interest area such as L&D, OD or wellbeing.

**What you bring to the role**

Ideally you will have:

- An HR qualification or have obtained similar through practical experience
- 3-5 years’ experience working at the coal face of HR/P&C preferrable in food, manufacturing or horticulture to ensure exposure to the scope of ER and recruitment themes with particular experience in either ER or recruitment
- A sound understanding of employment legislation and procedural correctness
- A positive attitude and great relationship building skills
- Amazing attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all pieces of written work
