We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer to design, implement and support all aspects of our growing infrastructure. You will be part of an IT infrastructure team that contributes to the design and maintenance of highly available compute and storage solutions that meet business objectives and agreed Service Levels.
- Prioritise daily duties and tasks as directed by the Infrastructure Operations Manager.
- Participate in regular team meetings and one to ones, report progress, achievements and issues.
- Take ownership of resolving complex faults or problems that have been escalated from within the team.
- Contribute to the design, installation, and maintenance of Mediaworks server based systems to ensure they are highly available and performing optimally.
- Be responsible for creating and maintaining documentation relating to MediaWorks Technology systems, that you design, build, or change.
- Provide technical support, configuration, and administration of MediaWorks environments with security in mind.

**About you**

You will be a seasoned Senior Systems Engineer professional looking to step into a role where you can lead projects, be hands-on and be able to work autonomously. This is a challenging but rewarding role with much room for growth to work amongst other areas within the Technology team. So being adaptable to change is vital and being cool, calm and collected in challenging situations is a must
- Deep understanding of VMware products & technologies like, vSphere ESXi, vCenter Server and vSAN
- Strong experience supporting various types of Storage Solutions (Block, File, Object).
- Proven experience in using Veeam Backup solutions and Replication tools.
- Good understanding of Datacenter / Server Room services.
- Strong understanding of the Windows ecosystem and its various roles and features.
- Proficient with better practices of managing Active Directory domains and their roles.
- Comfortable with maintaining Linux operating systems.
- Working knowledge of AWS solutions and services.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft SQL features and capabilities.
- Strong experience in the use of Change Management processes and practices.
