The Parliamentary Catering Team is dedicated to providing catering and hospitality services for the numerous functions that are held on the Parliamentary precinct. We do this by showcasing New Zealand's premium hospitality services & products; and delivering memorable experiences at Parliament. **Mō te tūnga **| **About the role**

Demand for our service changes each week, the days and hour you'll work will reflect this, they will be varied and interesting. We run a 7 day operation but you'd be rostered 5 days on. This role is responsible for the hospitality crew members during a functions and events around parliament. Depending on the event size, you could be managing 5-25 staff, providing directions, ensuring informative briefings education are provided to the staff about the menu, drinks and processes. Essentially, you're the go-to-person for everything events based.

We're seeking someone who is customer focused and is motivated to drive the professionalism of this role. Someone who can represent the brand, is exceptionally organized, works with passion and purpose and most importantly is keen to educate and help those around them. Coming from a well rounded hospo background would be amazing, especially if you have your Managers License, however if you are keen to learn we will provide training. Ideally, you'd have proven experience as a supervisor.

The appointing salary range for this role is $61,679 to $67,890 per annum. Appointments will be based on skills and experience (please note, the full salary range extends beyond this to allow for tenure progression).
