Tranzit Intercity is an industry leader in providing transport and tourism services throughout NZ. We are seeking an experienced **Operations Supervisor** to join our busy nationwide operation.

This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations, leading and supporting our team of over 30 drivers and ensuring we deliver excellent service to our customers. You will be responsible for ensuring our fleet of vehicles are ready, our team of drivers know the plan and we deliver on every promise we make to our customers.

This is a fast-paced, exciting industry and this position will suit someone who thrives on change and quick, methodical decision-making. Your task will be to ensure our network is always functioning over a 7-day period. Work hours can vary due to the nature of our industry with management support after hours as and when required.

**Your duties will include**:

- Supervising the day-to-day branch operations,
- Relief driving as required,
- Rostering our Fleet and Drivers,
- Fleet Management and Maintenance,
- Support and leadership for our friendly team of drivers,
- Support our client relationships by exceeding customer needs and KPI's, ensuring top quality delivery of our services,
- Foster a positive, proactive H&S culture, whilst ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

**Ideally, you will have**:

- A strong customer delivery focus,
- Proven experience in an operational role in a team leader/supervisor capacity,
- A positive, pragmatic and well-balanced approach to problem solving, and decision making,
- Ability to work under pressure,
- Excellent stakeholder partnering skills,
- Advanced technical skills and willingness to adapt to new technology,
- A current class 4 drivers' licence with driving experience,
- A passenger endorsement or the ability to obtain one,
- Transport industry experience would also be an advantage.
