About the role
The Supervisor - Registry is responsible for the management of information coming into and out of the New Zealand Police National Intelligence Centre (NIC). The role requires adherence to strict procedures and processes to ensure information is managed securely and effectively enabling police to have the right information to inform operational and strategic decision making. Additional responsibilities include managing security clearances, security systems and auditing functions. The Registry is a key liaison point for information sharing across police and other government agencies so excellent stakeholder engagement is a must. This important role manages two direct reports and is a key enabling and leadership position within the NIC. The Supervisor Registry needs to be comfortable managing competing tasks and be able to continually prioritize their work to ensure exceptional service delivery.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Manage the central intelligence repository for NZ Police
- Enable others to comply with Protective Security Requirements to ensure trust and confidence in how police manage information.
- Exercise professionalism, judgement and discretion when managing information and engaging with stakeholders.
- Lead a high performing team focused on continually improving service delivery.

- Experience working with Government classified information and Protective Security Requirements.
- Holds or can obtain and maintain a high-level security clearance.
