**_We are looking for a Manager, Programme Office to support the Te Ao Mārama programme. This is a full time, fixed term role until August 2025._**

**Te whiwhinga mahi/The Opportunity**

We are currently establishing the Te Ao Mārama programme team, a multi-disciplinary roopu to enable the design, development and delivery of the programme. You will be working closely with supporting teams across the Ministry of Justice and Justice Sector.

We are looking for someone who has a focus on getting things done, with and through others. You will create and foster a strong team that delivers in a positive team environment.

As the Manager Programme Office you will be part of the management team and play a key role in assisting the Programme Manager to create and implement good and pragmatic project and programme management practises. You will be able to support consistency in some elements of our methodology, but also tailor and think outside the box.

You will co-lead the design and implementation of integrated planning, budgeting, performance reporting, as well as oversee the secretariat and administrative support provided to the wider programme.

**Education/Professional Qualifications and Technical Skills**
- Professional Qualification in Project and Programme management or other related field essential

**Experience**
- 5+ years' experience in project management/ EPMO roles in structured project or programme delivery environments in the public sector.
- Expert knowledge and wide experience across project and programme management disciplines with a good understanding of contemporary best practice principles
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to engage successfully and credibly at multiple organisational levels.
- Proven ability to remain up-to-date on key technical changes and opportunities in their specialist area and proactively use this to continuously improve the Ministry's services.
- A team player, willing to contribute as necessary to deliver programme and project outcomes of a high standard and to drive the increasing maturity of Ministry's delivery functions.
