We are currently seeking a Corporate Affairs Manager, a newly established role tasked with leading a diverse team in Marketing, Communications, and Governance. This opportunity is a unique gem within our district, and we are enthusiastic about having someone join our team who can proficiently manage our governance function while delivering on external communication and engagement strategies.
**He kōrero mōu: About you**:
As our Corporate Affairs Manager, you will:
- Demonstrate expertise in leading a diverse team, offering guidance, assistance, and constructive feedback.
- Show a strong understanding of local government legislation, democratic processes, and local governance procedures.
- Have affiliation with Marketing, Communications, Engagement and Governance functions.
- Demonstrate strategic thinking capabilities to achieve strategic objectives in marketing, communications, and external engagement.
- Demonstrate knowledge of government policies, risk management frameworks and LGOIMA.
- Excel in building rapport, internally and externally, including media relations, elected members, our community and internal staff.
