**About the role**:

- Auckland CBD location.
- $75 per hour + 8% Holiday pay
- Supporting the community affected by flooding and cyclone Gabrielle.

**Day to day responsibilities**:

- Lead collaborative efforts across the Recovery Office, council group and central government to establish our strategic approach and programme of work to support community-led recovery
- Establish best practice community-led recovery processes, approaches and governance for Tāmaki Makaurau
- Identify opportunities for investment in community-led recovery mahi, with a particularly focus on our priority communities
- Support key partner relationships and ensure that the objectives of partnership opportunities are realised.
- Support your team to build strong relationships across local community and social sectors
- Ensure the recovery needs and aspirations of local communities are understood and considered across the work of the Recovery Office
- Lead strategic thought leadership to shape new and different service models through partnership.
- Proactively establish and lead key relationships with government agencies such as Kainga Ora and the Ministry of Education

**About You**:

- Degree-level tertiary qualification in community development, policy, planning, humanities or equivalent
- 10+ years’ experience in leading and facilitating community development intitiatives strategic change, problem identification and leading innovative, bespoke responses to identified problems.
- 3+ years’ experience in leading people
- Proven advanced relationship building and stakeholder relationship skills with the ability to convert these relationships to strategic outcomes.
