There are 22 West Liquor and Village, Wine & Spirits stores, 4 Liquorland's, 8 hospitality venues and The Quality Hotel Lincoln Green. We are all about keeping things local in our community and giving back to West Auckland.

**The Venue**:
The Hangar has been a staple in West Auckland for the past 15 years for Food & Drink. When it comes to events, we go Big We can hold 400+ people, with a massive separate Mezzanine area for private functions, the biggest weekly Pub Quiz night in the entire country, and an overall versatile area, used for Sports Events, Celebrations and After Work Get-Togethers.

**The Role**:
***This role will be part of a large team and you will be someone who is not afraid of a challenge. You will confidently be able to run the Venue in the absence of the Venue Manager and help to motivate and lead the team to success.

**Key **Responsibilities**:

- ** **Assist with rosters and manage wage budgets
- Based on a 7 day roster there will be weekend and night work
- Ensuring venue presentation and cleanliness.
- Delivering profit through effective cost control management
- Understand financials and your impact on the P&L, whilst also being generous with your time.
- Venue Recruitment and selection
- Induction of new team members and ongoing training

- Experience managing functions & corporate groups
- Committed to running a business - focused on growth and customer service excellence,
- Actively inspire, lead, motivate and encourage the team
- Have a current GM Certificate and LCQ
