**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead key innovation projects through the Stage-gate process to bring innovation to market.
- Category champion to ensure delivery of innovation pipeline, communicating status and risks throughout the business.
- Ensure launch plans and go to market strategies are sufficient to meet project objectives and achieve success.
- Participate in the identification, prioritisation and development of the three-year rolling Innovation Pipeline that ensures focus on scale and achievement of key business strategies.
- Continually review and improve the tools and processes we use to manage innovation at Lion.
- Coach and develop key internal stakeholders on innovation technical skills and best practices.
- Continually explore and identify new insights / ideas / trends to meet growth aspirations.
**Skills and Capabilities**:
- Ability to lead manage large cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to think logically and rationally, particularly when dealing with elevated levels of ambiguity and complexity.
- Builds strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, sharing knowledge and insights across the organization.
- Shows skills in ability to work effectively with others and mange key stakeholders across the business.
- Shows creative and critical thinking skills.
**Knowledge and Experience**:
- Tertiary qualification required - Marketing, Business or equivalent.
- 5+ years’ experience in Marketing, Innovation or New Product Development
- Proven project management experience
- Experience leading cross-functional teams.
- FMCG experience ideal.
