What we’re looking for

We are recruiting for a Regional Comms and Customer Advisor to join our team in Palmerston North. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team looking to the future, focused on innovation, and a chance to work closely with an experienced management and operations team.

What you’ll be doing

In this role key responsibilities will include:

- Manage the communication database between Fulton Hogan and the Palmerston North City Council communication centre
- Early stakeholder liaison
- Draft notifications and letter drops for the range of work activities being planned
- Arrange for media advertising - social media, paper and radio - for high profile sites
- Visit businesses owners and other key affected parties for sites which have significant planned works
- Undertake site audits to measure compliance with both our customer impact mitigation as well as our site safety from a traffic management and delivery perspective
- Give regular feedback to management of delivery teams on areas they need to improve
- Covering phone triage and assisting with communication during emergencies

What we need from you

You will be an excellent communicator and someone who is able to form strong relationships with clients, co-workers and other stakeholders, as well as have:

- Relevant tertiary qualification or certificates
- Customer and Stakeholder liaison experience
- Excellent Microsoft suite knowledge
- Good worth ethic and be a team player
- Passionate around Health and Safety
