Planning Analyst

We are seeking a Planning Specialist to be an integral part of the Kotahi Planning Team, to lead the review of long-term and short-term forecasts to accurately secure and lock the vessel and equipment requirements of Kotahi.
This is a full-time, fixed-term role to the end of July 2025.
In this role you will:
- Collaborate with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, utilising formal forums, commercial acumen and strong communication skills to ensure the accurate integration of commercial insights and drivers into Kotahi’s equipment and vessel locks.
- Support the planning team with analysis, creating insights and systems management in the Planning domain.
- Assist with and contribute to business projects and continuous improvement as appropriate.
- Lead and own continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment and vessel utilisation.
- Critically examine performance metrics and feedback loops to drive continuous improvement of planning performance and Planning KPIs ( e.g. DIFOT, N2, Utilisation %, etc.)Accurately review forecasts (long-term and short-term) across customers and configuration of systems to ensure delivery of highly accurate vessel and equipment locks.
You will bring:

- The ability to bring a process driven approach to system administration ensuring complete, accurate and timely entries
- Attention to detail, sense checking data and analysis while taking pride in quality outputs
- Understanding of the interdependencies and trade-offs between key business drivers e.g. financial optimization and customer satisfaction
- Good stakeholder management skills - Able to bring stakeholders together to collaborate on common goals
- Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure, ambiguous circumstancesThe ability to manage expectations and accept accountability for deadlines, budget and outcomes
You'll have s trong analytical skills, experience using reporting systems, preparing and presenting insight and outcomes. It's essential that you have advanced Excel skills and a solid and demonstrable understanding of how supply chains work.
