Chorus is moving from the building phase of our network to operationalising our assets. It's an exciting time ahead.

Being a part of the Strategy and Enterprise Performance team, you will have end-to-end ownership of the forecasting process, from understanding strategic assumptions and evaluating external datasets, to ensuring stakeholder alignment and understanding of forecast outputs and sensitivities. This is a critical role that underpins the business planning function across our enterprise.

Reporting to the Commercial Planning and Analytics Manager, this is what your day looks like:

- Maintaining and enhancing the suite of predictive models used for market and connection forecasting.
- Building an awareness of other internal analytical work, and understanding how outputs and insights from this work can be incorporated to better inform forecasts.
- Measuring and communicating the performance of the forecast models, and recommending opportunities for improvement to our stakeholders.
- Supporting the development and evaluation of segment, customer, product revenue and initiative plans.
- Supporting analytical requests, translating data and reports into meaningful information for both financial and nonfinancial stakeholders
- Contributing to effective cross-functional working teams, collaborating with colleagues from Strategy, Regulatory, and Finance.
- Establishing key relationships within supplier & partner organisations that enable you to lead through influence.

To be successful in this role, you will have likely developed forecasting models or scenario analysis, and delivered insights and recommendations which enhance decision-making. You’re able to present complex data in a digestible format, tailor your content to suit your audience and challenge your stakeholders as required.

**Required Skills**:

- Great analytical skills, including the development of forecasting models and analysis of complex datasets
- Strong attention to data and process detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to convey information, insights, ideas, and proposals clearly
- Confidence in interacting at all levels of the organization
- Experience with diverse analytics and visualization tools
- Strong documentation and change control disciplines
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Experience with tools like Tableau and Snowflake (preferred but not essential)
- Performance orientation and self-motivation
- Desire to achieve results and pursue standards of excellence
- Ability to improve one's own performance and tackle challenging targets

Required Experience
- 5+ years' experience in a planning or forecasting role
- Background in analytics, planning, and financial modelling
- Experience in using diverse analytics and visualization tools
- Experience in a role that requires compliance with legislation and company policies
- Experience in health and safety management systems
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams
- Experience in stakeholder and relationship management
- Experience in the telecommunications industry (preferred but not essential)
