We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced **Project Group Leader - Mechanical** to join the Project Engineering Team and to provide key support to our team of Mechanical Engineers at Kinleith Mill, Tokoroa.

**About the role**:
A key component will be focusing on H&S, ensuring engineering solutions are safe, effective and comply with requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act. You will be co-ordinating the delivery of capital and non-routine maintenance projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring projects are correctly developed, planned and delivered on time and to agreed budget. Providing technical support and guidance to colleagues, consultants and business units whilst mentoring your Graduates.

Critical to this position will be providing effective team leadership through coaching, communication and developing individuals for future roles.

**The successful Applicant will have the following attributes**:

- A tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
- Leadership experience, managing a team of Engineers.
- Practical knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat exchangers, pressure equipment, and heavy industrial process equipment.
- Demonstrated project management skills, particularly in a brownfield environment.
- Demonstrated technical judgement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
