**MŌ TĒNEU TŪRANGA MAHI - ABOUT THE ROLE**

Sexual Wellbeing Aotearoa (formally Family Planning) are looking for a 12-month fixed term Clinical Information Specialist to cover parental leave. This is a full time Monday to Friday role working 40 hours across the week. We are flexible for this role to be based either in our Newmarket Office in Auckland or our National Office in Victoria Street, Wellington.

This role provides technical and operational support to clinicians and staff to ensure the proper and effective use of clinical information systems and improve the delivery of client care. You will assist users with system navigation, troubleshooting and client monitoring issues so you will be a strong problem solver with high attention to detail.

This role also requires collaboration with leaders across Sexual Wellbeing Aotearoa to plan, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical information system/s and services, so you will be an effective negotiator and communicator with the ability to interact with a wide range of people.

**To be considered for the role you will ideally have**:

- In depth knowledge and previous experience of Clinical Information Systems in healthcare (ideally Indici) and a good knowledge of IT systems in general.
- Able to demonstrate a high level of understanding of clinical systems, data analysis, testing and administration.
- Understanding of the systems for the sharing of health information across providers in the New Zealand health context.
- Understanding of relevant legislation and systems for monitoring compliance.
- Available to travel within New Zealand.
- Relevant tertiary qualification (desired).
