Whatu Ora Waikato, Hamilton based ICAMHS, is looking for a clinical psychologist to join our talented team. We are based in central Hamilton within the Waiora CBD building. Our service users/tangata whaiora based both locally and rurally, and this role provides an exciting opportunity to work closely with the communities in which people live.

We provide specialist services for infants, children/tamariki and adolescents/rangatahi who are experiencing serious mental health challenges. There is a strong emphasis on family/ whanau involvement in their recovery journey. As a community-based service, we are open Monday to Friday during office hours.

Required skills & experience you will need to be considered for this role:

Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi

*
You are a registered clinical psychologist with the NZ Psychology Board with preferably experience within a child and adolescent mental health setting.

*
You hold a current New Zealand full driver's licence, a current practising certificate and comply with the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Amendment Order (No 3) 2021

*
You have superior communication and organisational skills with a commitment to work collaboratively in a large, dynamic multidisciplinary team.
