SAE Auckland is accredited as an NZQA Degree-granting institution. In our most recent NZQA External Evaluation and Review (EER) SAE Auckland was awarded a Category 1 rating.
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
We’re on the lookout for a highly organised **Data and Compliance Officer** to sprearhead data analysis and reporting at SAE Auckland. Collaborating closely with the Academic Dean and Quality Assurance Manager and reporting directly to the Campus Director, the Data and Compliance Officer will:
- Ensure our student records are audit-ready
- Handle the preparation and submission of crucial Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) reports including the SDR and Fees Free
- Track EFTS consumption and EPIs
- Conduct data gathering and analysis of external surveys including our Graduate Destination Survey and for Consistency Reviews
- Support our compliance with NZQA regulations
This is a **0.5FTE** part-time role.
**The person we seek will ideally have the following**:
- Proven skills in data gathering, analysis and reporting, ideally within the tertiary environment
- Proficient with data software, student management systems and/or google docs
- Highly organised, with an eye for detail
- A strong work ethic
- Works well within a team as well as independently to achieve required outcomes
- Familiarity with academic compliance is advantageous
- Previous experience in the NZ tertiary education sector is a plus
