**About the role**:
As a Risk and Compliance Analyst you will be responsible for IT risk management, awareness training and security assurance of Genesis Energy Information Systems. This is a cross-functional role requiring relationships with a wide range of customers from various business units within Genesis Energy, and external to Genesis Energy.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Assist with maintaining Information Systems policies and guidelines to comply with applicable standards, legislation and regulations (ISO27001/VCSS-CSO/PCI)
- Work closely with audit companies to assist with information gathering and review. Provide timely updates and tracking of audit activity and actions.
- Maintain and drive IT risk management across the organization, building and maintaining a positive risk culture.
- Coordinate ongoing security risk assessments and security reviews for applied changes, upgrades and new system implementation.
- Investigate, when required, actual and suspected breaches of security providing written reports of each incident.
- On a regular basis, monitor the activities of internal and external employees, contractors and third parties, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and standards.
- Active involvement in the development and ongoing improvement of security and business processes and procedures for the delivery of quality and reliable services to Genesis Energy.
- Responsible for proactively identifying improvement opportunities and implementing them.
- Provide appropriate reporting to the Head of Group Security as required.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with other members of Genesis Energy

**About you**:

- Qualification demonstrating research and analytical competency, articulation and a good grasp of English both written and oral.
- A positive, proactive and action-oriented approach to their work.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in IT.

You'll be action orientated, possess an inherent customer-centric approach, be flexible, reliable and outcomes focused. A collaborative style is key to this role, yet you'll also need to be decisive and confident to stand your ground on tough decisions. Strong written and verbal communications skills are essential.
