We have an awesome opportunity at our Palmerston North Branch for someone wanting to join the Chesters Plumbing and Bathroom team. As an Inwards Goods team member, you will be responsible for receipting goods in and out of the Warehouse ensuring the smooth operation of our Chesters Palmerston North Branch.

In this role with plenty of variety, you will gain exposure to all aspects of the running of a busy plumbing merchant. You will assist to unload goods and process paperwork from our suppliers, and then place goods into stock ready for future deliveries. You will assist with picking customer orders from the warehouse shelves and loading the delivery truck, occasionally delivering goods to our customer base, and issuing documentation. You will also assist our valued plumbers and builders on our Trade Counter identify, source, and locate our extensive range of Plumbing and Bathroom product

To be successful in this role, you will have excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail. You will be well organised and able to prioritise competing demands. You will have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. You will also need to be fit and healthy. A full NZ Drivers' Licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle is advantageous.

You may have previous warehousing or logistics experience, or you may have a good understanding of the ins and outs of the Inwards Goods role and simply feel that you are up for a new challenge.
