Warehouse Team Leader

Our client manufactures and exports premium pet food nationally and internationally in a busy warehouse in the Manawatu.

**The role**:
You will be responsible for completing quality control checks, inventory control, checking inward and outward goods, ensuring MPI requirements are always met, regular temperature checks, and completing MPI E-certs. There will be 5 staff directly reporting to you while you also support the operations manager.

**Responsibilities**:

- Experience and understanding MPI requirements/regulations with E-certs (training will be provided but prior knowledge is preferred).
- Current forklift licence with proven experience.
- Experience in Warehouse Management and operations.
- Computer knowledge and working with Microsoft.
- Able to follow procedures and policies.
- Maintaining stock levels to meet productions levels.

**Requirements**:

- Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kgs.
- Great organisation skills and the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Good work ethic and safety conscious.
- Excellent communication skills and a team player.
- MOJ and ACC background check.
- Pre-employment drug test.

**Days and Hours**:
You will be working on a Monday to Saturday roster so flexibility is a must for weekend work. Operational hours are between 6am-4pm.
