The Office of the Deputy Director-General (ODDG) team provides strategic and operational advice and support to the DDG, senior leadership team and the wider Directorate. A small and friendly team, the ODDG has been designed to be agile, providing services across the groups in CCMH.
Ko ake mahi - What you'll do
We have two opportunities in the Clinical Community and Mental Health Directorate's (CCMHs) Office of the Deputy Director-General team. One permanent position, and one secondment/fixed term until August 2025.
As Principal Advisor in the Office of the Deputy Director-General (ODDG) you will be providing quality strategic business advice to support decision making and ensuring smooth operation for the Directorate.
The team has a centralised work programme providing support across the directorate. You will be working on operational modelling for teams and groups as needed.

- Ability to work collaboratively and be an excellent contributor both verbally and written
- Experience designing work programmes and ensuring timeframes and budgets are met
- Significant Machinery of government experience and driving work programmes
- Working knowledge of the health and social sectors
