Tyler Wren is working with a banking client of ours to assist with recruiting a Financial Crime Manager to join their already strong team. The Financial Crime Manager is responsible for supporting the delivery of the Financial Crime strategy to ensure a robust framework and control environment is in place to mitigate risk.
**Role responsibilities**:
- Support Financial Crime related control and process remediation projects, provide technical advisory support on escalated matters and incident investigations
- Support the assessment and oversight of regulatory change
- Assist with the development and delivery of financial crime-related compliance training
- Support the AMLCO by providing guidance to Group Policies and standards as well as assisting with the gap analysis when updates to new policies and standards are issues
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Support the management of compliance risks within risk appetite
**About you**:
- 4+ years in a similar role in the financial services and/or banking industries
- Relevant industry body exposure
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Solid expertise in NZ AML/CFT rules/regulations
- Knowledge of Sanctions regimes and monitoring systems
