This position is permanent and full time with the opportunity to work overtime.
What we are looking for:
- Qualified Automotive Technician / 5 years or more experience.- Current WoF inspector certification is a must.- Excellent understanding of Diagnosing (fault finding), repairing and servicing, and experience with diagnostic scan tools would be advantageous.- Accuracy and quality focused with the ability to problem solve and think laterally.- Organised, efficient, and methodical.- Great communication skills.- Possess a “Can Do” attitude.- Full, clean driver’s license and able to drive manual vehicles.- Ability to work Saturdays.**Responsibilities**:
- Assisting the Service Advisor with the workflow of incoming retail jobs to ensure work is planned, scheduled, assigned, and completed on time.- Assisting the Service Advisor with ordering parts that may be required.- Carrying out repairs, servicing, and diagnostics on vehicles.- Leading and assisting technicians / apprentices.- Communicate effectively with the Service Advisor regarding repairs recommended on vehicles.- Continuously looking for ways to improve quality in jobs and work processes.- Communicating and enforcing Health and Safety.**Benefits**:
