A big part of the business is integrity, it and that starts with selecting good people who can build on the foundations that have already been laid. As such D3 are looking to recruit an Assistant Development Manager to help assist in managing a variety of projects based in Auckland.
As the portfolio is ever evolving the person could work on a number of development projects from:
- Commercial
- Industrial
- Retail
- Residential build to sell
- Community Housing
**Duties will include, but will not be limited to**:
- Assist the Directors in identifying and delivering residential and/or commercial development projects.
- The ADM would assist the team running developments end-to-end and over time would get autonomous responsibility for delivering projects.
- Assist and help prepare detailed project strategies and plans for development projects and undertake feasibility and financial analysis of prospective projects.
- Assist with the management of master planning and consenting processes
- Contributing to leasing strategy and associated marketing activities on developments.
- Proactively identifying opportunities to add value to new and existing developments.
- Provide overall support to D3 and to the wider 3Group businesses.
**To be successful in this role, you will have the following**:
- Hold a tertiary qualification ideally in civil engineering or architecture.
- At least 2 years' experience within property and construction industry.
- An understanding of the commercial property lifecycle.
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Outstanding presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Desire to work within a passionate and collaborative team environment, and also autonomously; and
- Ambitions to advance your career to become a Development Manager.
- A strong sense of commitment towards health and safety and sustainability.
