TVNZ is embarking on a business wide transformation to drive our audiences to TVNZ+. To achieve that goal, we are focused on content and platform investments which drive digital audience and cricket is a top content opportunity to supercharge future growth.

With some exciting live sport already signed up, we are looking for an Executive Producer for our sports content team, who will drive through our cricket strategic priorities.

**The opportunity - Te tūranga**

This opportunity is a great step up for an experienced executive producer who has great relationship skills, deep cricket knowledge, and live sport experience.

In this role, you will work alongside our production partner Whisper to deliver all live domestic Black Caps, White Ferns and Supersmash coverage. The role is critical for overseeing TVNZ's contractual obligations to our partners New Zealand Cricket but also editorial direction and budget management.

Key to this position is putting people and culture first, with big crews and talent to lead, as well as working alongside TVNZ company-wide workstreams, New Zealand cricket, the players' association, and the major associations across the country who run the game and grounds at a national level. Soft skills are essential

Working alongside the Sports and Events General Manager, and our sports team, you will bring to life the content cricket strategy.

**What we're looking for - Tā mātou e kimi nei**

To succeed in this role, first and foremost you'll be a person who works well in a team. You're super positive and open, you'll have a sense of humour, and you must be a sport nut. If you are good at detail and budgets, and love to organise, that will be an advantage. You'll be able to show examples of either live sport or live cricket production experience, editorial oversight, producing, or working with sports bodies. A creative mindset with loads of fresh ideas would be welcome.
