We are looking for an **Analyst - Financial Crime Risk Sanctions** to help drive forward the development of our sanctions policy governance and advisory team. This role will support the team in help managing sanctions risk for BNZ.

This role will provide you with excellent flexibility, both with start and finish times and location, alongside 6 weeks annual leave We have a strong focus on learning and development, diverse career opportunities and a great team environment.

**Mō te Tūranga | About the Role**

We sat down with our Senior Manager - Financial Crime Risk Sanctions (who you'd report to), and they let us know the following about the role.

**What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?**
- Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) advice to the 1st line teams for Sanctions on daily matters and ongoing projects.
- Translate data into meaningful reports reflecting key metrics for Financial Crime.
- Monitor the ongoing sanctions compliance within the business and work with the areas that require uplift, ensuring the business continues to meet its sanctions obligations.
- Participate in ongoing sanctions related meetings, providing a sanctions risk view and ensuring the potential risks are mitigated.
- Identify and assess any emerging trends globally against BNZ's exposure.
- Help design, build, and maintain Sanctions Risk Assessment for BNZ.
