**Te Puna Aonui Business Unit - One team**
Te Puna Aonui Business Unit is a small unit and we work as one team to deliver maximum impact. We are flexible, working in cross functional teams to ensure we have the right mix of capability to deliver our mahi. We are innovative and harness the people across the Family Violence and Sexual Violence system to deliver collective impact. We are deliberate and effective in how we connect and engage to achieve the desired outcomes.
**Your Group**
The Enabling Transformation Group at Te Puna Aonui leads the local, regional, and national enablement of Te Aorerekura, ensuring the actions and shifts identified are whānau centred and iwi and community led. They lead the development of a self-sustaining system through growing the capability and capacity of the family violence and sexual violence workforces and the sector with targeted tools, support, and upskilling.
They are responsible for developing and nurturing the partnering and engagement strategy, frameworks, and approaches that drive engagement and the delivery of effective solutions and support to the communities we serve. The Group is also the system lead for gaining meaningful data and insights and building an evidence base to mobilise knowledge to inform better decisions, interventions and learning within Te Puna Aonui and across the system.

We are looking for a design expert to join the Community Enablement team as a Principal Advisor in a permanent fulltime role.
As Principal Advisor, you'll spearhead service design efforts for Te Aorerekura in Place. In this pivotal role, you'll serve as the primary interface with our partner agencies, forging partnerships with external stakeholders and regional leaders towards implementing best practices. Your expertise will enable mapping family violence and sexual violence service provider ecosystems, driving practice changes, and contributing to regional strategies. **Ō** pūkenga/Skills and Experience**
Build and foster relationships with Regional leads and stakeholders to map their current eco-systems within FSVS service providers to understand the opportunities and barriers and visually depict this to support decision making
**Design thinking skills**
- Ability to use your design skill set to identify and improve complex system issues related to family and sexual violence with local and national partners.
- Design solutions in partnership with government agencies, Iwi and community that benefit those most impacted by family and sexual violence.
- Leverage extensive knowledge of design practice and process, translate regional plans, gaps and community voice back to government in clear actionable formats.
- Develop recommendations on opportunities to streamline system processes such as the contracting and procurement of services across government agencies.
**Relationship management**
- Build and foster relationships with regional leads and other stakeholder
- Share knowledge and expertise by mentoring kaimahi to increase the understanding and practice of relational commissioning and system design.
**Communication**
- The ability to effectively tailor communication of complex issues for different audiences
- Design visual aids etc that are impactful and effective
**Ensuring Workplace Health and Safety**
- Comply with health and safety procedures and ensure you don't harm yourself or anyone else.
- Report all incidents and help to identify and manage hazards.
