Are you an expert at navigating change and managing HR digital systems? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Systems Specialist to join our dynamic team.
We are looking for a skilled professional to Lead their HR Digital Systems Function thereby playing a vital role in helping to keep New Zealand and New Zealanders safe and secure. You will work across the NZIC providing a national service with colleagues who are diverse, talented, and committed individuals and are anything but ordinary. As the HR Systems Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing and maintaining the optimal function of our HR digital systems. You'll be the go-to person for providing technical support and guidance to our HR system users, ensuring smooth operations and integration with other systems. Collaborating with various stakeholders, you will identify new system requirements, implement solutions, and manage digital improvement projects to streamline and automate people management processes.

**In this role you will**:

- Manage digital improvement projects and partner with internal stakeholders to implement technical solutions improve how people get things done
- Offer specialist and technical support to system users, ensuring all HR systems are fully supported
- Act as the system administrator for HR digital systems, ensuring data security and integrity and oversee critical maintenance tasks
- Develop training and guidance documentation for digital systems to support users
- Maintain strong working relationships with all business units and external partners to ensure great outcomes
- Have excellent HR system administration experience, ideally with some payroll management skills
- Offer high quality business improvement advice
- Have demonstrated experience in managing small to medium-scale projects and working in an agile delivery environment.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the system development lifecycle process.
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have a reputation for working collaboratively and independently.
- Good knowledge in MS Excel and SQL reporting experience would be a plus.

To be eligible for employment within the NZIC you must have been a NZ citizen for at least 10 years. Alternatively you must hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years.
