We are thrilled to offer a rewarding position for a seasoned Supervisor to become part of our Transmission team stationed in Rotorua. This role involves managing captivating projects throughout the Bay of Plenty region. We seek a qualified and enthusiastic **Project Supervisor** to join our Operations team on a permanent, full-time basis. In this role, you'll provide technical support and oversee the successful delivery of contracting projects, ensuring safety, quality, on-time completion, and budget adherence. Reporting to the Delivery Manager - Construction and Scheduling, you'll prioritize safety, assist with work plans, and ensure thorough completion of relevant field paperwork.
- Being the Project Supervisor, you will also be responsible for:_
- Manage and review job requirements, leading a small project team, including subcontractors, to ensure proper delegation of tasks based on staff capabilities
- Support in planning, scoping, and pricing jobs accurately, identifying environmental and other influencing factors for effective project execution
- Provide guidance and technical expertise to drive team performance, ensuring staff receives necessary training and development
- Collaborate with management to plan and agree on work/job objectives
- Support the team hands-on with on-site tools as required

You will be a Project Supervisor with Distribution and Transmission Project experience or an experienced foreperson looking to advance, you should bring a track record of building successful teams. Your ability to organize and manage workloads, ensuring positive outcomes without compromising health and safety, is crucial.- Additionally, possessing the following would be beneficial:_
- Knowledge and experience in LV and HV distribution and Zone Substations
- National Certificate of Electrical Engineering Level 4 or higher with current practising licence as required
- Knowledge of relevant Codes of Practice, Policies, Standards, Work Procedures, Legislative requirements and the relevant Parts of the Safety Manual - Electricity Industry (SE-MI)
- Current Workplace Competency (WTC)’s as required by the role
- Full clean Class 1 driver’s licence
- Critical thinking and contemplative skills with the ability to solve problems and make decisions
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience working in a multi-cultural environment
- A strategic thinker with the ability to solve problems and make decisions
- Ability to motivate and influence others while demonstrating integrity and trust
